DHGI Together for CHANGE

Together for CHANGE(T4C) is a comprehensive 10-year initiative that will lead to more equitable medical research and better treatments for Black populations worldwide by creating the first genomics database of people of African ancestry. Additionally, it will invest in and promote the education and employment of more people of African ancestry in genomics and related fields to ensure that Black and Brown people are prioritized in pharmacological research. 

T4C will be the inaugural project of the Diaspora Human Genomics Institute (DHGI), a newly founded nonprofit established and led by our team at Meharry. Our partners in the project are at the highest level of drug development, including Regeneron, AstraZeneca, Novo Nordisk and Roche.
